The goal of a lash lift and a lash perm is essentially the same: to curl and lift the base of your natural lashes using a chemical-based process. Although the terms are used interchangeably, technically they’re two different things. In general, Cocos says to think of a lash lift as a newer version of a lash perm that uses better techniques and formulas.
